Baoding Tianxing Garment Co., Ltd. applies quality control procedures across key stages of jacket and outerwear production, from incoming materials and pre-production samples to in-line manufacturing and final inspection.
Inspection items cover fabric condition, garment construction, measurements, stitching, insulation filling, trims, and finished garment appearance. Final inspections can be carried out according to agreed AQL sampling requirements and customer quality standards.

Incoming Material Inspection (IQC)
All raw materials and accessories are inspected before fabric cutting:
• Fabric Physical Check: Roll length, fabric weight (GSM), and surface defect inspection using fabric inspection machines.
• Color Consistency: Fabric shades are compared with approved color standards under standard lighting conditions to maintain color consistency between production lots.
• Functional Fabric Testing: Basic hydrostatic head testing (waterproof rating) and surface water repellency (DWR) checks for functional shell fabrics.
• Accessories Check: Zipper operation, snap button pull strength, elastics, and trim specifications.

Pre-Production Inspection (PQC)
• Pre-Production Meeting: Review of Tech Packs, seam specifications, stitch density, and fill weight requirements with production line managers.
• First-Article Inspection: Verification of initial finished garments from the trial production line against the approved PP sample before bulk sewing.

In-Line Quality Control (IPQC)
Quality inspectors monitor semi-finished garments directly on the assembly lines during bulk production:
• Stitching & Seam Check: Stitch density, seam alignment, and thread tension.
• Specialized Craftsmanship:
→Seam Taping: Inspection of heat-seal tape adhesion and temperature setup on waterproof garments.
→Down & Padding Filling: Computerized weight control during down filling to ensure uniform insulation distribution.
• Measurement Control: Dimensional tolerance checks across all size spec charts.

Final Inspection & Pre-Shipment Audit (FQC / OQC)
100% of finished garments undergo final inspection before packing:
• Appearance Inspection: Garments are checked for stains, loose threads, sewing defects, fabric defects, pressing issues, and other visible problems.
• Measurement Check: Finished garment measurements are compared with approved size specifications and tolerances.
• Function Check: Zippers, snaps, buttons, closures, and other applicable garment components are checked for basic operation and attachment.
• Label & Packing Check: Care labels, size labels, hangtags, polybags, carton markings, and packing quantities are checked against order requirements.
• AQL Inspection: Where required, finished garments can be inspected according to agreed AQL sampling levels and customer inspection standards.
